Bio
Hello, and thanks for taking a look at my portfolio!
I'm Samantha and I have a BFA in 3D Animation and VFX. I'm currently based in Seattle, but I love to travel and experience new places. So far I've been to 4 different countries, 6 states, and hopefully more soon!
I'm passionate about animation in all its forms (2D, CG, Stop Motion), and every part of the pipeline intrigues me. However, my skills lie primarily in the Layout, Cinematography, and Animation categories, with some experience in Social Media Management and Coordination.
I love that animation has the ability to tell stories in such a multifaceted way. Stories have always been my "escape" from the world, and I enjoy contributing to an industry that inspired me to become an artist.
Outside of animation, I also love to indulge in photography, illustration, video editing, writing, casual gaming, and playing with my dog.
I currently volunteer for Rise Up Animation, and I have recently interned at Pixar during the Summer of 2022, and I'm excited to work on new projects. Always open to converse; feel free to reach out through email or social media.

RPGs are my favorite type of game both in Video and Table Top form.
I have a German Shepherd Mix puppy named after an anime character.
My favorite drink is milk tea with boba.
I spent 10 years learning Taekwondo and ended with a Second Degree Black Belt :)
